Module 5: Infant health and illness 2-7 years

Osteopathy at two years
  • Growth, nutrition, play and sleep: rhythms in childhood development.
  • Illness as an opportunity to grow.
  • Emergency osteopathic care for acute childhood illness and working with other systems of health care (surgery & drugs, homeopathy)
  • Chronic illness: how to change cycles of infection, fatigue, anxiety in the family.
  • Bones, marrow and immunity
  • Emergence of the child’s health with gesture, teething, communication - signals for families and practitioners.
  • Emergence of the child in society- language and self.
  • 15 hours CPD per module

Patient Clinic

Saturday 4pm Demonstration with patient/s by presenter
Sunday 2.30-3.30 Participants practice with patient/s
