Module 4: Mother-baby & family in the first year

Osteopathy at 6 months

Mother-baby & family in the first year

  • Family fulcrums -transitions & a model for family health assessment.
  • Mother and baby healing- physiological form & function changes for survival in the first few days.
  • Mother and baby growing- transitions in feeding-sleeping- teething-communication-play.
  • Baby movement patterns through counter balancing reflexes.
  • Family relationship and maintaining health with premature or disabled infants.
  • 15 hours CPD per module

Patient Clinic

Saturday 4pm Demonstration with patient/s by presenter
Sunday 2.30-3.30 Participants practice with patient/s
